Trauma-informed care in supported lodgings

It is important to recognise the importance of trauma informed care within supported lodgings.  This session is a chance for hosts to understand the trauma young people in their care may have experienced and learn practical skills.  This session is broken down into four parts:

  • Overview of trauma 
  • Trauma identity & learned behaviours 
  • Trauma informed responses 
  • Self-care 

Delivered by: Mary-Anne Dodd, Trainer, Speaker and Consultant with lived experience of the care system. Mike Farrington, Founder and Operations Lead of Concrete Rose with over 20 years of experience supporting young people.
